Wayne & Janet Kelley’s pergola project in Guthrie, Oklahoma, is a testament to meticulous craftsmanship and design. Constructed in 2022, this robust structure features 8”x8” rough cut posts and incorporates a variety of rough-cut dimensional lumber, including 2” x 4”, 2” x 6”, and 2” x 8” boards, all created from Eastern Red Cedar. This choice of wood ensures both durability and stability, while enhancing the pergola’s rustic aesthetic appeal. Positioned against a charming stone facade, the pergola provides a welcoming outdoor retreat perfect for relaxation and entertainment. The natural wood finish of the cedar complements the rustic stone, creating a seamless blend of nature and craftsmanship, and offering a functional space to enjoy the serene Oklahoma landscape.
